“How much do you charge?” seems to be the most important question to many of you out there. Let me break down our cost structure, WHY we charge what we do, and more importantly: what you can expect to get for you hard earned money.

“Why so much?” some say. “Why so little?” others say, still others say: “if you lower your prices you could get a lot more work” . While that may be true, it’s not what Pro Dev is all about. We are NOT here to mass produce websites. Each of our clients enjoys a one on one, personalized relationship with us, and lots of care goes into meeting each ones specific needs. So, how do we decide on price?

Simple. The average website takes us approximately 15 hours of design time. Our standard hourly rate is R350 per hour. We then plan the size of your website, as well as features, based on the amount of time development of such will require.

Note also that our websites are dynamic, not static, so once we had done the initial design, they can easily be updated, searched, and accessed.

“But I can have a website designed for less, elsewhere” Yes, we are aware of that. However, we urge you to please compare apples with apples. Ask yourself: At a cutthroat price, can I expect good service and support? Will I get a personalized product? Will my job simply be mass produced, and will I be treated as just a number? And the age old saying applies: You get what you pay for.

Website and Email Hosting for R100 per month

Web Hosting is a very cutthroat market, and always will be. You can find web hosting out there for as low as R9 per month! But look at what you get. For any extra work, or features required, we have a fixed hourly rate of R350. As there is one person doing the work, the time invested and skill set is leveled. You will find this rate is lower than industry standard, and we hope to keep it that way.
